Volunteers

Volunteer applications open in the Fall! Thanks to all the awesome volunteers that helped us at our 2013 convention!

---------------------------------------------------

Why Should You Volunteer?
If there were no volunteers there would be no convention! Staff members need volunteers in order to keep up with everything going on. As a volunteer, you are able to be a part of something you enjoy, meet new people, and gain background knowledge of the world of conventions and anime. At Shuto Con, volunteers are very important in keeping the convention running and are given gifts for their efforts; we like our volunteers and we hope to have our volunteers like us!

What Are The Benefits Of Volunteering?
There are many benefits to volunteering at an Anime Convention, which include but are not limited to:

• Community Hours (clubs more than welcome to apply).
• Financial Benefits (dependent on how many hours volunteered; full refund of badge cost possible with discount on Shuto Con merchandise).
• Meeting People (often this group becomes more like a a close knit, friendly group.)

Don't forget the Most Valuable Volunteer award! The MVV Award is an honor bestowed on the best-performing volunteer in the volunteering team. This volunteer stood out to the Shuto Staff as a dedicated person who was excited to help in any way they could. The Most Valuable Volunteer will receive a trophy with certificate, their badge completely refunded (max $35), receive a discount coupon for Shuto Swag, and a choice of a fun prize!
