Our 2015 schedule has been released!
That’s right folks, The Staff of Battle Master’s Combat Arenas is coming back for Shuto Con 2015!!!!!
Have you ever longed for the days when hand-to-hand combat was the norm? Or maybe you just want some way to beat up on your friends/family and not get in trouble for it? Maybe you want to act out a fantasy fight matchup that you have always dreamed of. Want Ash to cross blades with a Life-size Pikachu? What about watching Sora duking it out against Ichigo? No matter what your reason, the Battle Arena is the place for you!
Jeremy Franklin, the Battle Arena Officer and Weapons Master of Battle Masters Combat Arenas, has been duking it out for 11 years, so he knows his stuff. Jeremy is committed to making sure you get to take part in a fun, original, exhilarating, and inexpensive experience that you will remember as you explore Shuto Con.
Battle Masters Combat Arenas will be hosting the Battle Arena all weekend for your amusement. The theme for this, the 5th year of Shuto Con, is SHUTOVERSARY!!!!! Each of the four tournaments will represent the last four years of Shuto Con’s History. Each of the tournaments will be hosted by the champion from that year and will feature an exhibition match between this year’s winner and that year’s champion! First and second place finishers for each tournament will receive trophies, and the first place winners of each tournament will then get a chance to duke it out for the Grand Champion Cup and a chance to fight this years MYSTERY CHAMPION in a mono e mono grand finale!!!!
Another huge change for this year is that ALL THE TOURNAMENTS ARE FREE!!! Yes you read that correctly, they are now FREE!!!! However, free play in the arena now comes with a small price tag. 5 dollars is all it takes to get a wristband that will let you play all weekend in the arena! While we understand that this change might come as a surprise, we have done a lot of work and analysis of changing the model in order to create the best overall and inclusive experience for everyone. It is also important to note that a dollar for every wristband purchased will be donated to the American Cancer Society to help in the fight against cancer!
You must be 18 or older and sign a waiver to participate, or have a parent/ guardian present if you are under 18.
